2023 Fort Snelling State Park Photo Contest
The contest was open to everyone – up to 3 entries. The photos were taken within the park boundaries and the winners are listed below:
Flora - landscape, flowers, trails, trees, people or structures.
Winners: 1st- “Maple Glow” by Mike Greiner, 2nd - “Snowy Hillside” by Jane Stonich, 3rd- “Two Bridges” by Deb Johnson.Fauna - wildlife.
Winners: 1st – “What a Hoot” by Mike Greiner, 2nd – “Mink” by Christa Rittberg, 3rd- “Touch of Blue” by Rose Shea.Fun - abstract, photoshopped, composite, artistic filters, digitally altered beyond standard optimization.
Winners: 1st - “Stained” by Deb Johnson, 2nd “Hooked” by Judy Collopy, 3rd “Waterfowl” by Gary Sankary.
People’s Choice Awards: visitors to FSSP and the visitors’ center were able to view and vote on their favorited photos.
Winners: 1st “Ghillie” by Mike Greiner, 2nd “Mink” Christa Rittberg, 3rd “What a Hoot” by Mike Greiner.
