About Us

Mission

The Fort Snelling State Park Camera Club (FSSPCC) mission is to create an awareness of nature through photography and to develop photographers’ skills while supporting Fort Snelling State Park.

FSSPCC began meeting in February of 2010 with the general aim of supporting enjoyment and appreciation of the park by sharing photographs, techniques, and stories of our experiences with nature. We generally meet the first Saturday of each month at 9 a.m. in the Thomas C. Savage Visitor Center in the park.

Currently there is no fee to join and all interested parties are welcome and encouraged to attend our sessions. A parking permit is required to enter the park. Purchase a vehicle permit before you go and get a year of unlimited visits to all of Minnesota's state parks and recreation areas.

We continue to update information about our initiatives, meetings and activities as they develop. Thank you for your interest and check back soon.
